Nine Coursesat Aamod
A modern Indian tasting menu, cooked in the order a good evening unfolds: the coast first, then the hearth, then the fire, and finally something sweet. Two seatings, Tuesday to Sunday.
Autumn menu, served from
October to December
Each evening begins with a single frozen bite and ends three hours later with coffee at the counter. Between them, nine plates arrive in an order we have argued over for months, so that every course quietly prepares you for the next.
A counter, a pass, and fourteen quiet seats
The dining room was once a printer's workshop, and the long teak counter still follows the line of the old press bed. Ten guests sit facing the pass, close enough to watch each plate composed; the other fourteen sit at tables along the arched windows, where the evening is softer and conversation comes first.
- Counter
- Ten seats facing the kitchen, best for two or for curious solo diners.
- Window
- Seven tables for two, which join for groups of up to six.
- Light
- Low, warm and even, so that the food, rather than the room, is the thing you remember.
Reserve a seat at the counter or the window
